I am so happy you have found your way here. Little Haven was born out of a passion and vision for a safe, nurturing, fun space where families feel comfortable leaving their little ones for play, learning, and exploration.
 
I was born and raised in Newburyport and graduated from Governor’s Academy. After high school, I journeyed west to the University of San Diego to obtain my degree in Psychology.  Following several years on the West Coast, I returned home and received a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University, and started my own family here in Amesbury. My educational and work experience has always centered around children in some capacity: working with at-risk youth populations in New England, providing early childcare in California, and working abroad with children in Zambia. Through this work, it became evident that all children yearn to feel safe and loved and have a desire to explore their world through play.
 
My greatest joy thus far has been the privilege of raising my three amazing children, Luke, Sam, and Isabel. I love encouraging other parents and receiving support in return through the wild adventures of early childhood. My mission for Little Haven is to create a caring and supportive environment for the children as well as parents. It is my honor to walk alongside you and your child on this journey!
